Backer 7 Trial Version

Download a free trial version of Backer 7 and put it thru the wringer for 30 days.

If you downloaded the trial version before 31 December 2024, please download it again. This is the full installation. And even if you are just interested in the bare application: Download it again, there have been some minor improvements.

As with any new software: Please test Backer 7 with unimportant data only.
Antivirus software like Microsoft Defender may detect a virus or trojan in Backer 7. This is due to so-called >heuristics that observe a program's behavior. Backer copies files and, while doing so, can encrypt them — exactly what >ransomware does.
Windows may choose a low-resolution icon for a shortcut to Backer 7. In the properties of the shortcut you can choose a high-resolution icon.
Under Windows 11 scaling errors may occur. How Backer is supposed to look is shown >here. Please drop us a >note if this problem occurs.
Backer 7 contains strong AES encryption with 256 bit. You may not be allowed to import this encryption into your country and/or use it there. To clarify this is solely your responsibility.
